MLKP (Marxist Leninist Communist Party) Rojava organisation released a written statement announcing the identities of three fighters who fell as martyrs in the battle of Afrin.

Recalling that Afrin is resisting against the Turkish state and allied gangs for honor and freedom for days, the statement said; “Afrin is writing history against NATO’s second largest army. SDF, YPG-YPJ, MLKP and internationalist revolutionary forces from Turkey are raising the flag of honor and freedom against this cowardly aggression.”

The statement continued; “Fascist dictator Erdoğan and his bloody gangs are massacring civilians, women and children in the free lands of Afrin, every inch of which they target with hundreds of bombs, warplanes, howitzers, mortars and missiles. Our combatants Ruhat Aşkara, Erdal Demirhan and Sedat Akyüz, who have taken their place in the Afrin resistance since the very beginning, have waved the flag of immortality at various dates. The fascist invaders were able to stop the heroes of Afrin only with howitzers and fighter jets.”
