Three more freedom fighters laid to rest in Shedade Cemetery
Three more freedom fighters who fell as martyrs in the operation to foil the Islamic State attack on Sina prison in Hesekê were laid to rest in Shedade Cemetery.
Three more freedom fighters who fell as martyrs in the operation to foil the Islamic State attack on Sina prison in Hesekê were laid to rest in Shedade Cemetery.
Hundreds of people living in Shedadê and the southern part of Hesekê, attended the funerals of SDF fighter Ferhan Ebdurehman, Self-Defense Forces fighter Xalid Hisên El-Ecim, who fell as martyrs in the operation against the Islamic State attack on Sina prison. The two fighters were buried together with Xalid Silêman El-Mehel, a fighter who fell as a martyr in the operation against an ISIS cell in Deshişe. The three fighters were buried at Shedade Cemetery.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Shedade Military Council commander, Ewde El-Hisên, conveyed his condolences to the families of the martyrs and said: "Our martyrs sacrificed everything for the freedom of our lands. We will not stop until we liberate every inch of our occupied lands. We promise the families of the martyrs that we will defend the region until the martyrs achieve their goals."
Drawing attention to the heroism of the martyrs, Ela El-Selum, co-chair of the Shedade Martyrs' Families Council, emphasized that the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria will unite against internal and external threats.
The martyrdom certificate was read by Zehra El-Ehmed, a member of the Martyrs' Families Council, and delivered to the families of the fighters.
