Three SDF fighters martyred in Turkish attacks

The SDF announced the names of three fallen fighters. Serdar Cuma Herco and Mihemed Şakir Hemê were killed in Turkish artillery attacks in Girê Spî, Hemed Xalid El-Elac in Ain Issa on Wednesday.

SDF fighters Serdar Cuma Herco, Mihemed Şakir Hemê and Hemed Xalid El-Elac were martyred in artillery attacks by the Turkish occupation forces in Girê Spî (Tal Abyad) and Ain Issa.

This was reported by the Media and Communication Centre of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in a statement released on Thursday, which includes the following:

“The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue their daily attacks on the north and eastern Syria, using all kinds of weapons, including internationally prohibited ones and drones.

They are targeting mainly populated areas, including villages on the lines of contact covered by the Ceasefire Agreement, causing civilian deaths, injuries, and material damage to their property.
Over the past days, three of our fighters have been martyred due to brutal artillery attacks by the Turkish occupation targeting the areas of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) and Ain Issa.

Our three martyrs have shown remarkable heroism and redemption in resisting both the Turkish occupation attacks and ISIS terrorism in various regions of the north and eastern Syria, and they were a model of comradeship and courage.

Since the first day of the Ceasefire Agreement by the guarantee of the US and the Russian Federation, the Turkish occupation has never complied with its terms and has continued to shell our areas with various types of missiles, attempting to expand the occupied areas that have been turned into a safe haven for fleeing terrorist leaders of ISIS remnants.

The guarantors of the Ceasefire Agreement bear the greatest responsibility for the constant Turkish escalation and violations.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of three martyrs, the families of all our martyrs, and our people. We reiterate our promise to retaliate against the enemies and to follow the path of our martyrs until achieving victory and liberating the occupied areas."
