Residents of the Til Berak district in Qamishlo Canton staged a protest to condemn the Turkish state’s attacks on North and East Syria.
Speaking at the demonstration, Til Birak Council of Martyrs’ Families Co-chair Waid Elewi condemned the Turkish attack targeting civilians in North and East Syria. Criticizing the silence of international forces and legal organisations, he asked, “Where are legal organisations and international forces which call for protection of human rights? Why do they ignore the crimes committed by the Turkish state?”
Afterwards, Meysa Hisen took the floor on behalf of Kongreya Star and stressed that local people would not remain silent against the invasion attacks, and they would resist till the end.
Meysa Hisen called upon international forces to fulfil their responsibilities and close the air space to the Turkish state.
