Til Rifet District Assembly calls on international community to speak out against Turkish attacks

Til Rifet District Assembly condemned the attitude of the international public opinion, which remained silent against the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state.

Til Rifet District Assembly condemned the attack on the district carried out by the invading Turkish state, which killed one citizen and injured another.

A statement was read in front of the city hall with the participation of dozens of district residents. Assembly co-chair Mihemed Henan read the statement. "The attack that took place in the city center of Til Rifet on Thursday and resulted in the death of a citizen who migrated to Shehba due to the earthquake and the injury of another citizen is one of the many attacks carried out by the Turkish fascist state. States, governments and fighting parties must overcome their differences in situations of great disaster. Indeed, there should be a move towards an active political solution, but instead we saw acts of terrorism, genocide and murder.

The statement added that the silence of international forces such as the United Nations Security Council allowed the Turkish state to continue its racist attacks. "On behalf of all components of Til Rifet, we strongly condemn the crimes committed by the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries. We call on international institutions, especially humanitarian and law institutions, to speak out about what is happening in our region."
