The invading Turkish state and allied gangs continue the invasion attacks on North and East Syria. To ease the invasion operations, the occupiers have recently increased the attacks on Til Temir in order to force the local people to immigrate.

The people of Til Temir convey a clear message to the invaders, expressing their determination not to abandon their homes despite daily attacks.

Ebdulrehmen Hisen, living in Til Temir said, “The invading Turkish army has recently increased the attacks on Til Temir. On the other hand, the Damascus government has strengthened its contact with the invading Turkish state, which made a statement corroborating the contacts. We are aware of the purposes of these attacks against us. They intend to expel us in order to seize our lands. However, they will never accomplish their goals. We will never leave our lands to the occupiers.”

Another resident of Til Temir, Filde Simon, who is a member of the Assyrian community, expressed that the Turkish state is trying to repeat the same scenario with ISIS in 2015. She continued, “We wake up to the sounds of artillery fire every day. They intend to displace the last Assyrians in the region. We are all loyal to our land. Despite daily attacks, we continue our daily life. We want to grow our children on our own land. We do not want to migrate. We will not leave here.”

Mihemed Xidir from Til Temir, a member of the Arab community, stressed that the Turkish state has carried out unabated attacks targeting civilians including women and children. He said, “Everyone living here is a natural target. We have been facing these attacks since we do not abandon our lands.”

“We will continue to resist against any kind of hostile attacks. We will never abandon our village. No matter how much they bomb us, we will not give up,” added Mihemed Xidir.
