The training cycle of YPG-YPJ’s 5th Regiment in the Efrîn Canton, participated by 303 fighters, has been completed.

During the training cycle which was named after Martyr Alişêr and lasted six months, 303 fighters attended military and ideological classes.

Efrîn Canton's Defence Council President Behcet Ebdo and several YPG and YPJ commanders were also present at the graduation ceremony.

The closing ceremony started with military parade and one minute's silence, followed by the speech of Defence Council President Behcet Ebdo who congratulated the fighters on their successful completion of the training cycle.

Ebdo stated that despite the constant attacks of the Turkish invasion on the region, their will to resist and defend their soil will never diminish.

Afterwards the Martyr Rojîn music band of the Culture and Art Centre took the stage performing revolutionary and traditional ethnic music. The ceremony ended with traditional dance halay.
