Tribal leaders and opinion leaders from Ain Issa and Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) gathered at a meeting with the military councils of the two cities on Thursday.

During the meeting, commanders discussed the attacks of the occupant Turkish state and the joint observation points to be established by SDF, Damascus government and Russia in Ain Issa region.

Answering the questions of tribal leaders and opinion leaders, the commanders refuted some media reports on the future of Ain Issa, stressing that SDF was always ready to protect Syrian lands and the achievements of the people.

The commanders also denied the media reports that Russia and the Syrian government wanted to build a security triangle in Ain Issa, noting that all the meetings focused on military coordination and works.

The tribal leaders made clear that they stand with the SDF against the occupation forces as the SDF frustrated the Turkish state’s attacks on Ain Issa.
