Turkey attacks seven villages in Shehba and Til Temir
The Turkish army has attacked seven villages in the self-governing regions of Northern and Eastern Syria. The canton of Shehba and the area around the town of Til Temir were targeted.
The Turkish army has attacked seven villages in the self-governing regions of Northern and Eastern Syria. The canton of Shehba and the area around the town of Til Temir were targeted.
Turkish artillery fires continuously on Rojava. On Wednesday evening, the villages of al-Anab, Nêrebiyê, Chuba, Til Cican, Til Medîq and Semoqa and the area around the Shehba dam in Shehba canton were shelled. So were the village of Umm Kahf (Umm al-Keyf) in Til Temir which was attacked using heavy weapons.
Deadly drone strikes
On the same day, Turkish drones struck Tel Rifat in the Shehba canton, killing at least three people and injuring five. A child is among the injured. In Tel Rifat, nine people were injured in a Turkish drone attack on 4 August, including six children and young people. Within four weeks, between 19 July and 18 August, at least 62 people had been killed by Turkish attacks.
