“Turkey is the greatest threat to the future of Syria”
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria emphasized that no solution is possible as long as Turkey is present in the region, calling for the liberation of all occupied territories.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria released a statement on the Turkish state’s increasingly ongoing attacks against the region.
Noting that the Syrian crisis ongoing for 10 years is yet to be resolved, and that all the opportunities for a solution have been missed so far, the statement underlined that; "The actors responsible for the deepening and long-term continuation of the Syrian crisis are the government in Damascus that permanently imposes a military solution and the Turkish state that desires to invade the lands of Syria.”
The statement continued; “As long as the Turkish state is present in the region, no solution will be possible. All areas occupied by the Turkish state must be liberated. The reason why Turkish president Erdoğan and his government want to remain in Syria is obvious. The Turkish state which blackmails Europe with refugees, builds all its projects on invasion. We, the Autonomous Administration, warn once again: the Turkish state is the greatest threat to the future of Syria. We must fight together against Turkey's invasion and blackmail policy."
