The invading Turkish state attacks against South Kurdistan and its policies towards Northern and Eastern Syria were condemned in a press conference organized by Qamishlo General Assembly and members of Kongreya Star.
TEV-DEM Qamishlo Executive Board Member Ayid Ibrahim read the press release in Kurdish why Kongreya Star Qamishlo member Hacer Hesen read it in Arabic.
The statement commended the hunger strike resistance against isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and condemned the ongoing aggression by the Turkish state against Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan. The statement called on political forces and the people in the region to stand united against these attacks.
The statement denounced the silence of the Kurdistan Regional Government about the Turkish state's military operations.
