Turkish army hits civilian car near Kobanê

Abdullah Çiman, the owner of the vehicle targeted by the invading Turkish state in the village of Qere Mezra in Kobanê, said: “I am a civilian. While I was going to Kobanê for a job, the Turkish state targeted my car.”

A reconnaissance plane belonging to the invading Turkish state opened fire on a civilian vehicle in the village of Qere Mezra, southeast of Kobanê, at 22:15 on Saturday night.

The owner of the vehicle, Abdullah Çiman, said that the invading Turkish state is trying to spread fear among the civilians in order to evacuate the area.

Çiman said: “I am a civilian. While I was going to Kobanê for a job, the Turkish state targeted my car.”

The invading Turkish state, which has increased its attacks on the region for the last 3 weeks, targeted a vehicle in Qamishlo on 19 August, bombed the Til Temir Military Council Relations Office and the areas close to the war fronts in northern Syria hundreds of times.

The SDF made a statement on 20 August and named the latest bombardments against Northern and Eastern Syria as a new phase in the offensive.

As a result of these attacks, dozens of civilians, including women and children, lost their lives.
