Turkish assimilation process continues, Chechen centre opened in Serêkaniyê

Continuing its efforts to change the demographic composition in the Northern and Eastern Syrian areas it occupies, the Turkish state continues to open assimilation associations saying they are cooperation projects.

The Turkish state is trying to change the demographic composition since it has occupied Serêkaniyê, in October 2019. The latest example of the Turkish assimilation policy has been the opening of the "Solidarity Association with the Caucasus" opened by Chechens in Serêkaniyê. Turkish military officials attended the opening of the association. The Turkish state is trying to bring Chechen mercenaries and resettle them in the region through such associations.

Last month, ANHA shared the documents of the resettlement of Iraqi mercenaries and their families in Serêkaniyê. Again, the evidence that has emerged proves the presence of ISIS mercenaries in the district.
