The Turkish attacks on the Zirgan town and its villages began around 15.00 on Tuesday, December 21.
The eastern neighbourhoods of the town and the villages of Um Hermele, Mezra, Til Emir, Til El Werd, El Rebiat and El Esediye were targeted by the Turkish and jihadist occupation forces.
Fesla El-Îd (60) and his daughter Melka Ehmed El-Îd from the El Rebiyat village, Mihemed Xêr Elyan (58) and Salih Hemîd from the El Esediye village were killed in the attacks. Several houses belonging to the villagers were damaged as a result of the attacks.
7 civilians were injured in Zirgan, which was the main target of the Turkish bombings. The injured civilians were identified as Elî El-Îd (45), Cûrî El-Îd (11), Cûdî El-Îd (4) and Ehmed El-Îd (11) from the El Rebiat village, Ehmed Mihemed El-Faris (50) from the Til El Werd village, Roza Diyar (35) from Zirgan downtown and Hemda Faris.
Furthermore, 3 soldiers of the Syrian regime forces are reported to have been injured in the attacks of the Turkish army.
Escalating its attacks in the east and west of Til Temir at 16.30 on Tuesday, the Turkish forces also targeted the Assyrian villages of Til Şenan, Til Cuma and the villages of Um El Kêf, Til Kerabit and Tewila. Civilian houses and properties were severely damaged during the Turkish bombings while 2 soldiers of the Syrian regime forces were injured in the village of Um El Kêf.
