Gang groups supported by the invading Turkish army attacked the positions of Manbij Military Council (MMC) fighters in Awn Dadat town north of Manbij Monday evening. The aggression with heavy weaponry was retaliated by the MMC fighters, resulting in clashes.

The International Coalition against ISIS and the U.S. had mediated a ceasefire between Manbij Military Council and Turkey-backed gangs in the mentioned clashes area after the liberation of Manbij in August, 2016.
