Invasion attacks by the Turkish army and allied jihadist groups against Afrin continue on the 48th day. Turkish airstrikes intensify in Jindires district where the Turkish forces targeting civilian settlements massacred four civilians yesterday.

Airstrikes continued throughout last night as well. As YPG/YPJ fighters respond to the invading forces, clashes in the district continue.

The Jindires district to the southwest of Afrin has a strategic importance. The invading Turkish army intends to advance towards Afrin city center after taking Jindires under control.
