Soldiers of the invading Turkish army murdered a farmer in a village of west of Girê Spî.
ANHA News Agency reported that Turkish soldiers shot 64 years old Izedin Osman while he was working in his field close to the border between Rojava (Western) and Bakurê (Northern) Kurdistan early Sunday morning. The man was heavily wounded and taken to Weteni Hospital where he lost his life afterwards.
Osman’s son İsmail Izedin stated that Turkish soldiers shot his father without reason.
Girê Spî western border line administrator Xişman Şewket said the followings about the incident: “We strongly condemn the Turkish state’s attacks and the international silence on what is happening. Nobody can work in their fields because of Turkish soldiers.”
