The Turkish state and mercenaries continue to practice extortion, plunder, torture, harassment, rape, abduction, as well as the destruction of nature in Afrin.
ANHA wrote that Turkish state mercenaries have threatened shopkeepers on the Rajo road and then opened fire.
According to local sources, mercenaries on Wednesday morning had threatened to close the shops on Rajo road and then fired at a phone shop and a currency exchange office.
The same sources added that the mercenaries demanded a ‘tax’ from the shopkeepers and that they opened fire when they did not get it.
It was also learned that a person in the foreign exchange bureau was injured.
Trees set on fire
On the long list of crimes committed by the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries there are not just those hitting civilians. In fact, the mercenaries also set on fire wooden areas around Afrin.
Local sources reported that the invading Turkish army and mercenaries have set on fire trees in the Cerqa Valley near the village of Elemdar, in Rajo.
Fires were also seen on the mountain of Hawar, which is located between the villages of Shen and Cih.
Sources added that olive trees were also set on fire in the village of Hobke and that a large area was set on fire in the village of Kevire Ker.
Likewise, hundreds of trees were burned in the village of Xelilaka.
