As the world struggles to counter the coronavirus outbreak, the Turkish state continues its invasion attacks on North East Syria. Houses and wheat fields belonging to people have been damaged in the attacks of the Turkish state against villages of Girê Sipî (Tal Abyad) and Ain Issa.

The Turkish state bombed the village of Zannubiyah in Girê Sipî with howitzers in the evening of 4 May. Peasants' wheat and barley fields were damaged.

Residents of the village of Zannubiyah said that the Turkish state is constantly attacking them with mortar and howitzer and that they live in fear.

Mihemmed Ehmed, who lives in the village and whose wheat fields were also damaged, said: "The Turkish state is constantly bombing our village. We live in this village, we are civilians. The village is full of families. They are constantly attacking and our fields and our houses are damaged."

Stating that they do not know what the Turkish state wants from them, Fatıma Ehmed said: "We do not know what to do whenever there is an attack. Howitzer falls in the middle of the village, hitting the houses. I am fleeing in fear from my house to my neighbor's house. They are still attacking us, even in the month of Ramadan. They do not let us in peace, not even in our homes."
