Internal Security Forces released a statement announcing the details of Thursday’s UCAV attack by the Turkish state in the northern Syrian city of Qamishlo.
According to the statement, an UCAV of the Turkish army shelled a depot of the HPC (Social Defense Forces) in the Meyselon neighborhood on Thursday, June 9, morning.
The Internal Security Forces stated that five civilians were injured as a result of the attack, calling it “a continuation of the Turkish state’s attacks against civilians.” The attack also caused material damage to the vehicles in the vicinity of the scene.
“We as the Internal Security Forces condemn the acts that are aimed at disturbing peace, stability and security in our territories. We call upon the international community and guarantor states to fulfil their duty and prevent the attacks,” the statement concluded.
