Turkish unmanned drones circle over Shehba

Turkish Jihadist occupation forces continue their attacks on the autonomous area without interruption despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Unmanned drones of the Turkish army are circling in the sky above the northern Syrian canton of Shehba. Their sights are set on the inhabited villages of Semûqa and Seda.

The Shehba region in the no man's land between Afrin and Aleppo has recently been the scene of frequent attacks by Turkish Jihadist occupation forces, which continue their attacks on the autonomous area without interruption despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The last time Turkish shells hit Shehba ten days ago. This resulted in property damage to houses and farmland. Inhabitants of the region, including numerous internal refugees, complain that Turkey is taking advantage of the Corona crisis to expand its occupation zone, but that the public outcry has not materialized.

Troop movements in Girê Spî

Meanwhile, the Turkish army is gathering more proxy troops in the city of Girê Spî (Tal Abyad), which has been occupied since October last year. A wall erected in the west of the city after the occupation has been removed again. Reconnaissance flights are also taking place over the region.
