Two children died and two others were injured in mine explosion in Deir ez-Zor

Two small children lost their lives and two others were injured in the explosion of a mine in the village of Behra near Deir ez-Zor.

Two children lost their lives in in the explosion of a booby trap left by the Islamic State in the vicinity of the village of Behra in Deir ez-Zor. Two other children were injured. The two little victims were two and three years old. The injured children were taken to hospital.

Booby traps and mines continue to pose a major threat to the civilian population of Northern and Eastern Syria, and especially in Deir ez-Zor. Before being liberated by the SDF, Deir ez-Zor had become ISIS last stronghold in the region.
