Two members of the Faylaq Al-Sham gang allied to Ankara have been punished as part of the Operation Wrath of the Olive launched against the Turkish invasion in Afrin.
Two members of the Faylaq Al-Sham gang allied to Ankara have been punished as part of the Operation Wrath of the Olive launched against the Turkish invasion in Afrin.
The Operation Wrath of the Olive Action Room issued a written statement and said the people who died in the action in a village in Jindires were registered in Hama.
The statement includes the following: Our Operation Wrath of the Olive units carried out an action in the Der Belut village in Jindires against 2 members of the Faylaq Al-Sham gang allied to the invading Turkish state on August 11, 2018. Gang members Xalid Al Hayiq from the Al Zaqat village in the northern rural part of Hama and Ehmed Xetab from the Al Hiwaz village in Sehil El Xab were punished in the action.”
The statement said the punished gang members have been involved in the invasion of Afrin from the beginning and they were engaged in looting people’s homes and other barbaric practices.
The Operation Room said, “As Operation Wrath of the Olive Action Room units, we are telling all armed groups that have invaded the sacred lands of Afrin, the sacred lands of the olives, to leave at once. Those who fail to do so will be targeted by our units.”
The statement concluded with: “Our actions against the invading Turkish army and their allied gangs continue at a large scale throughout Afrin. All armed groups in Afrin, and every person who aids the Turkish state’s invasion of Afrin or engages in barbaric attacks against civilians will be targeted by our units. Be patient Afrin, vengeance is near!”
