The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported two new murders in Hol Camp in the far south-eastern region of the Heseke city. Accordingly, two female Iraqi refugees were shot dead by unknown gunmen believed to be of ISIS affiliates in the camp’s first section.
SOHR noted that this is the sixth murder in the Hol Camp since the end of the first phase of the large-security campaign, which indicates alarming escalation of killings in the camp.
On May 12, an Iraqi refugee was shot dead by ISIS affiliates in the camp.
On May 9, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found, at dawn, the body of an Iraqi refugee woman with gunshot wounds in the head in the first section of the camp, which is allocated to Iraqi refugees.
On May 8, the death of an Iraqi refugee was reported, after being shot by ISIS affiliates in the first section of the camp.
