Turkish artillery again targeted civilians in northern Syria on Tuesday morning. Two children were injured in the shelling of the village of Khirbet al-Baydah near the town of Ain Issa. The injured are Khalil al-Hassan and Ayman al-Hassan, both twelve years old. The invading forces shelled the Seqir rest area on the M4 highway, the Ain Issa refugee camp and the village of Mielek starting at 11 a.m. local time.
Such attacks on civilians constitute a violation of both the cease-fire agreement and the international law of war.
