Manbij city residents, as well as members of the Civil Council and Manbij Women's Council representatives joined the Vigil against the occupation threats of the Turkish state.

Speaking in the tent put up for the action, Manbij Executive Council Co-Chair Mihemed Xêr Şêxo reiterated that the people's confidence in the Civil Administration and the Manbij Military Council was complete, and pointed out the position of the citizens against the threats against the region.

Defense Committee co-chair Qasim Remo pointed out the need for solidarity at the highest level and added that Manbij military forces and political government are the only forces that can defend the region.

Manbij Women's Council chair Hale Hisên said that all plans threatening peace and security in the region would be defeated. Hisên said: “All the peoples in Manbij have the power to disrupt Turkey’s occupation plans.”
