Local sources that the occupation forces kidnapped two civilians from a village to the north of the Zirgan town in northeastern Syria.
According to reports, Abdulaziz El Mustafa and his brother were kidnapped from the village of Hermel. Sources say that the Turkish state ordered the abduction of the two men by Shughour al-Shamal mercenaries. While ransom has been asked from the families of the two brothers, their aftermath remains unknown.
Serious crimes are systematically committed in the Turkish-occupied territories in northern Syria. Kidnappings of civilians are part of the daily routine. In most cases, a ransom is demanded for their release. In recent years thousands of people have been kidnapped and tortured. Some have been executed, the fate of others is unknown.
