Shaddadi Clans Council President Sileman Derwis said they won’t accept the ISIS trials to be held outside of Northern and Eastern Syria.
Shaddadi Shedade Clans Council President Sileman Derwis spoke to ANHA about the Turkish state’s invasion attacks in Afrin and the international court to put ISIS members on trial. Derwis said: “With the invasion wall they put up in Afrin, the Turkish state wants to tear Afrin away from Syrian territory and annex the city, like they did before with Iskenderun.”
Derwis said they won’t accept the ISIS members captured by the SDF in Northern and Eastern Syria to face trial anywhere else: “We sacrificed thousands of martyrs to end ISIS terror. The peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria have evidence for the crimes ISIS members committed, they are enough for the trial of these gangs. The people of Northern Syria are witnesses to the massacres and the destruction.”
