While the invading Turkish state forces and allied mercenaries continue their intensified attacks on the northern Syrian district of Ain Issa, the guarantor of the ceasefire in the region, Russia, is contented with watching the attacks.

Condemning the increasingly ongoing attacks, notables of tribes from Aleppo expressed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

“TURKEY’S OTTOMAN DREAM WILL NOT BE REALIZED”

Ömer Mihemed from the Demalxa tribe said: “We condemn Turkey’s attacks on Ain Issa. The Turkish state seeks to revive the Ottoman Empire from which it inherited occupation. Still, this dream will not be realized because the people of the region are not how they used to be. Many things have changed. We stand with the SDF against the attacks.”

“RUSSIA SUPPORTS THE ATTACKS”

Semîra Elûş, a member of the Committee of Notables from Tribes in Aleppo, defined the aggression as a conspiracy and said, “These attacks are a continuation of the conspiracies against Syrian lands and target the civilian population directly. Ain Issa used to be one of the safest regions in Syria before the occupation and attacks. Liberated by the SDF, the district housed numerous IDPs. Russia fails to do its part in the face of the attacks, and we can define Russia’s silence as a support for the attacks of the Turkish state.”

Hemed El Cabir from the Şaban Cilewî tribe said, “I condemn the Turkish state’s attacks on Ain Issa and Syrian soil. We support the SDF against the attacks.”
