The people of Manbij stressed that they are ready to defend their city against the Turkish state’s threats of invasion and asked: “Where was Turkey while ISIS gangs were beheading people in Manbij?”
The people of Manbij, one of the main cities constantly targeted by the Turkish state in their threats of invasion against Northern and Eastern Syria, stressed that they will not remain silent in the face of new invasion attacks, just as they resisted ISIS gangs.
Mihemed Ehmed said the people of Manbij live under the culture of a common life like one big family and continued: “We do not accept the approach of the Turkish state. Where was Turkey while ISIS and FSA were beheading people in Manbij?” Ehmed stressed that they are ready to defend their city to the end.
Another citizen named Mehmud Abdullah said they will never compromise the resistance against any and all threats or invasion attacks, adding that life in the region is peaceful and safe.
“We’ve heard these threats before, we will resist until the end,” said Ibrahim Al Sataf and added that gangs have no place in Manbij.
