Women celebrate the 5th anniversary of the liberation of Manbij

A celebration was held by the Syrian Future Party's Women's Assembly to mark the 5th anniversary of Manbij liberation from ISIS mercenaries.
Manbij was liberated from ISIS mercenaries on 15 August 2016. The anniversary was celebrated by the Syrian Future Party. A meeting was held in Manbij Martyrs cemetery by the Women's Assembly of the Syrian Future Party. Many families of martyrs attended the meeting, which was also attended by representatives of civil society organizations.
At the meeting, which started with a minute’s silence, Syria Future Party Women's Assembly spokesperson, Ibtisam Ebdulqadir, made a speech. Celebrating the liberation of Manbij, Ebdulqadir called for the preservation of the gains made thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs. “ISIS violence was killing women. The liberation of Manbij meant the liberation of women as well.”
At the end of the meeting, carnations were left on the graves of the martyrs.
