Young women in Shehba say they stand by guerrillas

The invasion attacks and the KDP's betrayal were protested in a march organised by the Afrin Young Women's Union. The women said that they stand by the guerrillas.

A march was held between the village of Marat and Ehdas district to support guerrillas. The march was organised by the Young Women's Union, Yazidi Union and Kongra Star members.

The women were carrying photos of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Rim Dada, director of the Northern and Eastern Syria Young Women's Union, said: "The history of the Kurdish people and Kurdistan is based on revolution, resistance and struggle. Therefore, [Turkey] is attacking the Shehba canton on the one hand and Zirgan, Til Temir and Kobanê on the other. They are building a wall between Shengal and Rojava. All of these attacks by capitalist states are aimed at breaking our resistance."

Condemning the KDP's cooperation with the Turkish state in the attacks on Medya Defense Areas, Rim Dada said that this betrayal is the continuation of Mustafa Barzani's line of betrayal against Qazi Muhammed's revolution.

Expressing their loyalty to the resistance and leadership line against the attacks, Rim Dada stated that they stand by guerrillas.
