Shaddadi public hospital, which has been under restoration for almost a year, has been completed and will open soon.

Shaddadi hospital, which was destroyed by ISIS mercenaries has gone under restoration last year, at the request of the people. Project manager Mihemed Zêdo told ANHA that the restoration of 95 percent of the hospital has now been completed and added that the hospital will be put into service in March.

The hospital will serve 700 villages in 4 provinces south of Hesekê. The villages will be in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor and Shaddadi, Erîşa, Ebdan and Mergedam.

Mihemed Zêdo said that the hospital would provide great services to the residents of the Al-Siwer town and villages in the south of Hasekê and the northern region of Deir ez-Zor, and to the residents of the town of Al-Deşîşa on the Iraq-Syria border. He said that the hospital would have advanced equipment.

The working hospital will mean that local people will no longer have to travel to Qamishlo and Hesekê for treatment purposes.
