Young people participated in the human shield action in Serêkaniyê. The actions has been carried out for 15 days against the threats of the Turkish state to invade Northern and Eastern Syria.

Young people visited the action tent and expressed their views on the threats of the occupying Turkish state.

Speaking on behalf of Qamishlo Youth Council, Seyid Mihemed said: “Today is the day for our martyrs and our honor. We must continue our resistance to the threats of occupation.”

Fethila Hiso, a member of the Central Committee of the Democratic Union Party of Syrian Kurds, said: “Today, we joined this action to show the determination of our people in the resistance. We have created a world model with our system, we must rely on our own strength. Our belief in our projects is strong. Our project is a project of brotherhood of peoples and this brotherhood will not be destroyed by anyone.”
