Young Women’s Union in Manbij condemns international conspiracy

The Young Women’s Union in Manbij released a statement regarding the anniversary of the international conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan and remarked that conspirators continue to carry out new conspiracies because they could not achieve their goal.

The Young Women’s Union in Manbij released a statement to condemn the 23rd anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which was carried out on 9 October 1998.

The statement was read by Şerin Mihemed, one of the administrators of Young Women’s Union in Manbij, in front of Manbij Youth Centre.

Şerin Mihemed stated that the international conspiracy aimed to weaken and annihilate the PKK and pointed out the resistance of Öcalan in Imralı Dungeon.

The statement noted that the Kurdish leader, who has never given up his struggle despite harsh conditions, converted Imralı Dungeon to a source of his philosophy and thoughts seeking to liberate all peoples.

Remarking that the conspirator states could not achieve their goals and therefore go ahead with their plans, the statement underlined that people stand with the guerrilla resistance ongoing in Zap, Metina and Avashin despite the invading Turkish state’s attacks with banned weapons against South Kurdistan (Bashur) territories.

The statement called the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) responsible for the attacks on the mountains of Bashur, adding, “We will follow in the footsteps of martyrs. We will keep the struggle going until freedom.”
