The Young Women's Union made a statement at the historical Baghdad Gate in the east of Raqqa to protest the attacks against students in Rojhilat and Iran.
The statement read by Xilûd Mihemed, a member of the Zenûbiya Women's Community, said that the hegemonic powers want to enslave and weaken women.
The statement drew attention to the repression of the Iranian regime against the popular serhildan led by women and said that despite that repression, the rebellion spread all over the world.
Protesting the poisoning of female students, the statement said: "These incidents are not the first. The Iranian regime instils fear in students to silence women's voices. The 21st century will be the year of women's liberation."
