The invading Turkish state has been trying to change the demographic structure of the city since the day it invaded Afrin with its mercenary groups.
The Turkish state placed Turkmen families in the homes of the Kurds who they forcibly expelled from Afrin during the invasion in the first months of 2018.
The mercenaries are carrying out horrendous crimes against the Kurds who still remain in the canton.
Young F.Ş. was forced to leave Afrin. He doesn't reveal his name because he is afraid the mercenaries could retaliate and harm his family.
F.Ş. went to the neighborhood Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo. He told ANHA about the crimes of the mercenaries in Afrin. "They pillage people's property in front of everyone. The Kurds of Afrin are subjected to ethnic slaughter. The Kurds are not even allowed to open their shops."
F.Ş. said that Turkish state mercenaries chant ISIS slogans while "plundering people's property. There are dozens of mercenary groups in the villages. You can't basically move. Mercenaries kidnap civilians to get ransom. If the ransom is not paid, they kill the hostages in cold blood."
F.Ş. also remarked that there have been no news from a civilian kidnapped in the village of Badîna for 7 months. The mercenaries demanded 20,000 dollars ransom and as the family could not pay it stopped receiving news.
