YPG announces the balance sheet of attacks on Efrîn

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (YPG) released a statement announcing the balance sheet of attacks on Efrîn Canton of Rojava for the past 8 days.
Accordingly, gangs linked to the Turkish army last week attempted to form new battle positions by attacking several villages around the canton of Efrîn, but all attempts of aggression by gangs and efforts to create new positions were blocked. In addition, YPG forces have used the right to retaliate.
The 8-day balance sheet of the Turkish army's attacks and rights violations is as following;
“On 01.10.2017, the Turkish army's gangs attempted to attack Qestelê Hill in the Shera district of the Efrîn Canton in two groups, but our forces responded when it was noticed that an attack would be carried out, and one gang member has been wounded in the conflict here.
On 02.10.2017, the Turkish army's gangs wanted to dig a trench on the front of the Maranez village of the Shera district, and the activities of the bulldozers belonging to the gangs were stopped when our forces responded to the gangs with BKC weapons.
On 03.10.2017, the Turkish army gangs attempted an attack Bahoz, Bedirxan and Baran hills in Cindirês district of Efrîn Canton with fire, and as our forces responded to the attack, a bulldozer belonging to the gangs was destroyed while the gangs were forced to flee. On the same day, the gangs attempted to dig trenches at the Maranez front in Shera district but the bulldozer's activities were suspended when our forces targeted it.
On 04.10.2017, Turkish army gangs attacked Qestelê Hill which is located in Shera district with BKC weapons, and the Baxtiyar and Bedirxan hills, which are located in Cindirêsê district, with mortar shells.
Our forces also targeted a group of gangs, responding instantly with mortars and SPG-9 weapons. One gang member was killed and seven others were wounded, one of them heavily, in this retaliation by our forces.
On 05.10.2017, the gangs attacked with B7 guns the Qestelê Hill in Shera district and Baxtiyar, Barîn and Bedirxan hills in Cindirêsê district with mortar shells. On the same day, while the gangs were in preparation for an attack on the Eyn Deqnê and Maranez villages in Shera district, our forces responded to the attacks of the gangs with DShK and BKC weapons. Again in the districts of Shêrawa and Cindirêsê in general, clashes broke out between the gangs of the Turkish army and our forces, but no clear information was obtained about the number of dead and wounded gang members here.
On 06.10.2017, the Turkish army gangs attacked Bircikê Silêman village of Shêrawa district with DShK fire and the Basufanê village with mortars. Our forces responded instantly to the gangs with BKC weapons. Again on the same day, Baxtiyar, Cindere, and the Bedirxan hills in Cindirêsê were attacked with mortar shells. Our forces responded to the attack with mortars, but clear information about the number of dead and wounded gang members was not obtained.
On 07.10.2017, the Turkish army's gangs attacked the Bedirxan and Baxhiyar hills in Cindirêsê district with howitzers and mortars. On the same day, the gangs attacked Bircikê Silêman village of Shêrawa district with DShK fire, and our forces responded to this attack with BKC weapons, but clear information about the number of dead and wounded gang members could not be obtained.
On 08.10.2017, Turkish army gangs attacked the front of El Kamiyê village in Shera district with DShK weapons, and our forces responded instantly with BKC weapons. On the same day, the gangs attacked the Basufanê village in Shêrawa district with DShK weapons, and our forces responded to the assault with DShK weapons. On the same day, our forces noticed the gangs trying to create new positions on the Bozan Hill front, and targeted the bulldozer of the gangs with SPG-9 weapons. As a result of the intervention, the bulldozer of the gangs was stopped.”
