YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office released a statement about the ongoing attacks and violations of the invading Turkish army and gangs under their command against the lands of Rojava.
Accordingly, Turkish army's unmanned aerial vehicles conducted reconnaissance activity over Zormixar and Ziyaret villages of Kobanê on April 28.
Concurrently, Turkish army attacked the Hemama village in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district with tanks, while gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Maranez and Ayn Daqnê villages with tank, howitzer and artillery fire.
Following this aggression, gangs affiliated with the Turkish army launched an attack on Efrîn's Maranez, Ayn Daqnê, Belûnê and Minix villages, which lasted from 17:00 in the evening until 02:00 midnight.
During the same hours, al-Nusra gangs attacked the village of Basûfanê in Efrîn's Şerawa district with mortars.
During the course of all these attacks, Turkish jets flew over the border line of Efrîn Canton.
In the afternoon on April 29, gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked the village of Xazewî in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district with mortars.
Turkish troops' mobilization along Kobanê border increased during the night when power was cut and Turkish aerial activity took place over the region.
At the same night, gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Maranez and Belûne villages with howitzer, mortar and DShK fire. Simultaneously, Celeme village in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district and Girê Qastellê village in Efrîn's Girê Qastellê district were also attacked by the gangs with artillery.
On April 30 night, gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Maranez and Ayn Daqnê villages with howitzer and mortar fire.
YPG said their forces retaliated against the attacks in kind, and 3 members of the gangs affiliated with the Turkish army were killed during retaliation by YPG.
