People’s Defense Units (YPG) Press Office announced the results of the actions that targeted the occupying Turkish army and allied gangs in Afrin on May 30 and 31.

The statement by YPG Press Office is as follows;

“In the second phase of the Resistance of the Age, our forces continue inflicting blows to the occupying Turkish army forces and terrorists.

In this scope, our forces carried out raid actions against the bases of Turkish forces. Many soldiers and mercenaries were killed as a result of these actions.

One of the actions targeted the Turkish military base in the village of Qurtqulak in Afrin’s Shera district last night. Many soldiers and gang members were killed as a result of the action.

At 15:00 Thursday afternoon, our forces carried out an effective action targeting a base of the invaders near the village of Maryamin 7 km east of Afrin city center. During the ensuing clashes that lasted 45 minutes, the occupying Turkish army was verified to have suffered many losses.

During the mentioned actions, three comrades of ours fell fighting till the last bullet. Their ID information will be shared with the public later on.”
