YPG Press Centre staff Heqî Bagok who was martyred in Turkish airstrike in Qereçox has been laid to rest in Tirbespiyê today.
Thousands including Democratic Autonomous Administration representatives, comrades of Heqî Bagok and YRA members joined the funeral procession to Dîlşêr Cemetery of Martyrs after Bagok's coffin was brought from Qamishlo to Tirbespiyê.
One minute's silence and military ceremony by YPG fighters was followed by speeches.
Speaking here, Mizgîn Ehmed from Cizire Canton Democratic Autonomous Administration called on the international coalition to support the YPG, a constituent of SDF with whom the coalition is fighting the ISIS gangs, in the face of the attacks by the Turkish state.
Speaking after, Heqî Bagok's father Celal Hisên said his son has kept the promise he had made to the martyrs, saying; “Heqî was a Kurdish teacher when the Rojava Revolution began. He joined the YPG ranks in 2014 and worked for YPG Press Centre. We will follow his path.”
Following speeches, Heqî Bagok was laid to rest with slogans.
