The people living in Serdem Camp, in Shehba, opened to cope with the emergency resulting from the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish army and its mercenary allies, met to evaluate the latest developments in the region. 

The meeting was also attended by the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria Constituent Assembly Co-president, Hediye Yusif. 

Speaking at the meeting, Yusif said that there was no positive result for the Kurdish people in the Astana and Geneva meetings.

Indicating that an operation on Idlib was on the agenda, Yusif said the invading Turkish state had gathered new mercenary groups to try and take the city of Idlib.

"Especially after the mercenary groups made no agreement with the regime, - said Yusif - it seems that preparations for an operation by the Syrian regime forces and Russia towards Idlib are under way".

Pointing out that the Resistance of the Age was continuing thanks to the YPG / YPJ fighters, Yusif said that Idlib would actually speed up the liberation of Afrin from the occupiers.
