People's Council solving the problems of people in Ayn Isa camp

Sewage in Ayn Isa refugee camp was one of the main issues to be solved.

The People's Council and the administration of the Ayn Isa refugee camp, have promptly acted after complaints of the people of the Euphrates region, and started working on an underground storage for the evacuation of sewage waters.

The storage is located near the camp. With a length of 25, a width of 5 and a depth of 3 meters, it is aimed at securing the health of citizens by sealing the sewage water so to prevent the spreading of diseases and smell.

The municipal authorities said that the work could take another month to be completed.

Sewage waters collected in the pantry caused many problems. A sewer network was established by a charitable organization. However, the solution for two thousand square meters of collected water area was not provided.

This problem meant citizens had to face the prospect of diseases spreading, especially in the summer months.

Osman Bozan, a member of the Science Affairs Committee of the Ayn Isa District Municipality, said that temporary solutions were provided to the collected canal waters with underground storage, that the storehouse was brought close to the sewage waters collected and that the works were focusing on a stable solution.

The DAESH (ISIS) mercenaries destroyed infrastructures in the areas they occupied and new sewage nets had to be built to cope with the incoming flux of refugees from other war zones.
