A demonstration was held in Oslo for Kurdish female activist Zeynab Jalaliyan, who has been imprisoned in Iran for nearly 16 years.
Rojhilatê Kurdistan Free Women's Association (KJAR) promoted the action, which was attended by many Kurdish people as well as Norwegian activists. The action was held at Oslo central train station square.
A statement was made on behalf of the Norwegian KJAR committee about Rojin Alipanah, Zeynab Jalaliyan and all political prisoners in Iran.
The statement gave information about the situation of political prisoners in Iranian jails and the constant violations of rights. The current protests in Iran and Rojhilat were also underlined by activists who stressed that there had been no news from Zeynab Jalaliyan for many months.
Fexredin Lutfi, speaking on behalf of the Kurdistan Political Prisoners Federation, gave information about the prisoners.
