Activists in Pisa condemn Turkish attacks on Rojava

From the Occupied University of Pisa, tens of people mobilized to the Leaning Tower for another solidarity action with Rojava.

The University of Pisa expressed solidarity with Kurdish communities and condemned the repeated Turkish bombings of hundreds of areas in Syria and Iraq.

In a statement, the activists said: "By occupying the University, we wanted to declare to the city the will to mobilize against Turkish attacks. With this action in front of one of the most well known and crowded places in the world, we want our solidarity message to become international."

The statement added: "We support the Kurdish people and the Rojava revolution.  We will continue to mobilize to defend the possibility of a different way of existence and to organize society."
