The attacks of the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries against the Tishrin Dam from 3 sides were repelled by the Manbij Military Council and Women's Defence Units (YPJ) fighters.
At least 37 mercenaries were killed and many others were injured as a result of the resistance by the Manbij Military Council and YPJ fighters, who repelled the attacks.
While clashes continue at full intensity, Manbij Military Council and YPJ fighters launched a clearing operation against the mercenaries.
The Tishrin dam, which was subjected to intense attacks by the Turkish state and allied Syrian National Army (SNA) mercenaries recently and went out of service as a result of the attacks, is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The resistance of the Manbij Military Council, SDF and YPJ (Women’s Defense Units) fighters against the attacks continues. The Tishrin dam, where fierce clashes took place for days, went out of service on 10 December and left Kobanê Canton completely without electricity.
