The Democratic Student Movement opened an exhibition at the Telêt Aleppo Hall in the east of the neighbourhood of Şêxmeqsûd as part of the "Jin Jiyan Azadî" freedom initiative it launched. 40 paintings on the martyrs and occupied Afrin were exhibited.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Democratic Student Movement member Reşa Elî saluted the sacrifice of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and all the martyrs who gave their lives for the liberation of Kurdistan.
They are trying to break our will
Reşa added: "Our actions will continue until the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan is ensured. The invading Turkish state does not only impose isolation on our Leader, but also carries out dirty policies. There has been absolute isolation of the Leadership for two years. He is not allowed to meet with his family and lawyers."
Noting that the Turkish state is trying to break the will of those who believe in Leader Abdullah Öcalan's ideas, Reşa said: "They want to break our will by committing these crimes and they want to distance us from Leader Öcalan's ideas and philosophy. However, we will not bow down."
Reşa said: "Our actions will continue until the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan is achieved. Our will is unbreakable. Our struggle will continue until we see our Leader among us."
