Exhibition by women who left Hol Camp
25 women who left Hol Camp and returned to Raqqa Canton opened a handicraft exhibition, as part of the Autonomous Administration's efforts to integrate families who left the camps into social life.
25 women who left Hol Camp and returned to Raqqa Canton opened a handicraft exhibition, as part of the Autonomous Administration's efforts to integrate families who left the camps into social life.
A handicraft exhibition of women returning from Hol Camp was held in the city of Raqqa with the slogan "Return to Life".
The exhibition was organized by the Social Welfare Center of the Raqqa Canton Social Affairs Board. The aim of the exhibition is to educate the women returning from Hol Camp and reintegrate them into society.
The exhibition will continue for 3 days. 25 women who were trained at the Raqqa Canton Social Affairs Board Social Assistance Center attended the exhibition. Women exhibited their handicrafts at the charity center. The exhibition included decorated glasses, clothes, yoghurt, cheese, walnuts and cake varieties.
On the second day of the exhibition, dozens of city residents and many women visited the exhibition.
Since the opening of the Social Assistance Center, many vocational and theoretical trainings have been given to families returning from Hol Camp.
149 women have participated in these trainings so far. In these trainings, women learn handicrafts and cooking. On the other hand, seminars and other training activities on women's rights are also given.
The Autonomous Administration has been supporting people who want to leave the camp and return to their regions since the end of 2019. At the beginning of June, families from Deir ez-Zor left the camp.
