Images of YPJ fighters resisting in Tishreen and Qereqozax

On the ground and underground, the YPJ fighters in Tishreen and Qereqozax are putting up fierce resistance to the attempts of the SNA mercenaries to penetrate into northeastern Syria.

ANF correspondents sent a series of images of the YPJ, the Women's Defense Units, fighting in Tishreen Dam and the Qereqozax Bridge.

The front on the Euphrates is the crucial front at the moment. The Euphrates forms the demarcation line which the pro-Turkish mercenaries of the SNA ("Syrian National Army") want to cross at all costs with the support of the Turkish Air Force.

The attackers crossing the Euphrates would put Kobanê in severe danger. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and above all, the Women's Defense Units (YPJ) are putting up fierce resistance and have so far repelled all invasion attempts.

The clashes are focused on the Tishreen Dam and the Qereqozax Bridge.

On Tuesday afternoon, 37 attackers were killed, and the rest put to flight.

The YPJ are fighting with drones, from tunnels and at the front, often in close combat.
