International Women’s Day celebrated in London

Women from all cultures came together in London to march for women’s rights and freedom.

Women from all cultures came together in London to march for women’s rights and freedom. The event, which was organized by the Latin Women’s Federation, the Kurdish Women’s Assembly, Tekojin, JXK, and the Women's Strike Assembly, saw women come together to celebrate their strength and unity.

During the event, speeches were read by various speakers, and many cultural dances were performed. Women from all cultures came together to participate in the Gerilla Halay dance, which is a traditional Kurdish dance that symbolizes resistance.

The women also chanted slogans such as Jin jiyan azadi and sehid namirin,” to show their support for women’s liberation and the fight against oppression. In solidarity with the victims of the recent earthquakes in Kurdistan, Turkey, and Syria, a candle was lit to honor those affected by the disasters.
